I had the privilege of attending Parents Night Out, dedicated to helping families of genetic patients who are kids. It was hosted by BCM and Texas Children's Hospital and for 5 hours, parents were allowed to take a break from their busy and difficult life as we look after their child and his/her siblings. They were so adorable and fun! Some people were chasing after them around the floor and others molded shapes out of Playdoh and cookies. By the end of the night, we were all exhausted. I cannot imagine the persistence and love of the parents who live with their child day by day. Keep strong guys!
