Good eats: Aladdin's

Aladdin's the spot for Mediterranean food. We went twice this weekend because it was that good. At the counter-service, I ordered a simple "Aladdin's platter" for $10, which includes 1 meat dish and 2 sides (+$1 for 3 sides). You can choose among lamb gyro, chicken shawarma, beef, and more. My favorite part is the bottomless pita bread, fresh and hot from the open brick oven. They are so soft, made round the clock, and brings everything together. I couldn't finish everything, and the boys with their 3 sides were also stuffed.

Silly me, I forgot to take pictures of the meat because I was too busy wolfing everything down.

The ambiance has an inviting, homely feeling. Decorated with cute "window" paintings and fringe-laced ceiling lights, the warm lighting and open seating allows you to enjoy your meal and relax with your company. Seating gets competitive at times as the restaurant is bustling with people. I even got to meet a fellow Nikon photographer sitting next to us. It's definitely a place hosting regulars, and I might soon be one of them!
