Recipe: Hummus

Chad jokes about v-logging our daily lives because, you know, we're just so interesting. For example, we wanted some homemade pita bread to pair with our homemade hummus. Ambitious, I know. After sitting in front of the oven rooting for puffy bread, we got served some rock-hard inch-thick chips.

At least our hummus was edible (and quite delicious!). Some roasted cauliflower made us not miss the bread.

Hummus
1. 2 cans of garbanzo beans or chick peas (15 oz each)
2. Garbanzo bean water from 1 of the can (approx 1/4 cup)
3. 2 cloves of minced garlic
4. 1/2 cup Tahini sauce
5. Juice from 1 lemon
6. Salt to taste

Instructions
1. In a food processor or blender, mix the Tahini sauce and lemon juice first.
2. Add garlic and pour 1 can of garbanzo beans including its water and blend.
3. Add the 2nd can of beans (no water) a little at a time. The hummus should thicken up.
4. Add salt to taste.

Serve with olive oil and smoked paprika.
