I am a relatively loyal Shiseido skincare customer, so when I started working at a firm, I dabbled with some of their makeup products:
The tube/sticks from left to right are concealer in medium, lifting mascara, mascara base, and fine eyeliner. The rest is translucent powder and shimmering lipstick (#SL3).
My thoughts:
concealer - Not too keen on the stick format (am I supposed to use a brush?). I just mark it on my face in dots. The coverage is medium-full, long-lasting, and blends very well. It doesn't look cakey unless there's too much.
mascara base - I absolutely love the base. You put it right before the mascara, and it lengthens and thickens your eyelashes substantially. Most companies don't carry this kind of product since they market their mascara to do the same thing.
lifting mascara - My favorite mascara! it does "lift" your eyelashes even in one sweep, so there's no need for an eyelash curler. It dries fast, lasts all day, and does not clump.
fine eyeliner - This is a pretty fail eyeliner. The ink has a lot of trouble flowing out in a consistent fashion and the pigmentation is very, very weak. More grey-green than black. I stopped using it and thought it was a waste of money.
loose translucent powder - My favorite translucent powder! It sets my liquid/cream foundations and is a great oil-control. It even comes with a soft fluffy pad for application, although I use a kabuki brush. The only downside is while they market the product as "colorless", overapplication whitens the skin, so you got to take care to not become a geisha.
shimmering lipstick - I am a fan of Shiseido's lipstick formula. It is highly moisturizing and richly pigmented. The colors are so elegant while the shimmering is subtle, so it's a great choice for a work-appropriate face.
